European Design Trend:

European Design Trend inspired by the recent European design trend especially the trapezoidal body proportions which add charismatic character to the presence of a motorcycle. The edgy fuel tank lines and extended arrow-shaped tank shrouds resemble the original design of Gixxer setting up the aggressive body language of a new motorcycle.
ABS:

Single-channel Abs (Anti-Lock Brake System) is the supplemental system that automatically controls the braking force efficiently and avoids wheel lock up due to the slippery road, the sudden change of road conditions or excessive braking in a certain controllable range.
Fuel Injection Technology:

The SEP engine uses 6 sensors-02 sensor, intake air pressure sensor, intake air temperature sensor, Throttle position sensor, Engine temperature sensor, crankshaft sensor which work all together to give optimized information to ECM which accordingly commands Fuel Injector to inject appropriate amount of Fuel for great combustion efficiency resulting in accurate and improved throttle response with higher fuel efficiency.
LED Headlamp:

Futuristic LED headlamp design, exclusive to the Indian market marks a strong and aggressive impression of this naked motorcycle. The compact size and thin design of the headlamp unit not only complements the street sport look of the motorcycle but also helps ease of handling and offers a long and wide field of view from its extremely bright LED headlamp.
Cosmetic Updates:

The motorcycle gets a completely revamped design, making it look better than before. The LED headlamp is a completely new unit and the tank shrouds are new too, giving the motorcycle a butch appeal when seen in profile.

The tail section is new and is the same as the one on the Gixxer SF, which was recently launched. The tail lamp is LED too and the motorcycle now features a step-seat instead of the longish unit which was present in the outgoing model.
Pricing, Accessories, and Rival:

It is priced at Rs. 100,212 making it about 12, 000 more expensive than the old model. Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has also launched several accessories for the new 2019 Gixxer which include a 12V DC socket, tank graphics, tank projector, seat cover, Knuckle guards, engine bash plate and a humper bracket as well. The Gizzard 155 goes up against the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Honda CB Hornet 160R, and the Yamaha FZ-S V3.0.
